1AND1 is Matching Donations to Coney Island Prep

At 1AND1, we’ve been thinking long and hard about how we can best help during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now we’ve got big news about Coney Island Prep!

As most of you know, 1AND1 was founded in New York City. What most of you may not know is how passionate our Co-Founders are about the youth and empowering the next generation.

Our friends at Coney Island Prep are a K-12 public charter school in southern Brooklyn, serving more than 1,000 kids across three campuses. They believe that every child deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college and their careers. Because of Covid-19, and the closure of their schools, these scholars need extra support now more than ever.

The school recently launched an urgent fundraising drive called the Coronavirus Scholar Support During Closure fund that caught our attention.

Today we are pledging to give back by donating $1,000 to this fund. In addition, for every IG Story share or retweet that this post gets, we will add an extra $1 to the donation pool until we hit $2,000. We will accept donations for a full week.

If you’d like to personally donate, click here. You might even consider donating on behalf of someone you love as a unique gift idea.

Thank you for helping us spread awareness for this initiative. The youth is our future.
