Boody Body Ecowear Mid Legging

Rating: 5 out of 5
Pros

Good For: Lounging around the house, sleeping, and layering under T-shirts.
Notable Attributes: The bamboo fibers are anti-static and do NOT attract lint, which any legging-lover knows is major. They’re also a great material to use in activewear (although this brand really isn’t the best to wear when working out; look below for more deets), because they have micro-gaps that make it really breathable.
Boody is the softest ecowear leggings on the market and is very breathable. Boody is made from organically grown bamboo that is grown without artificial irrigation!

Cons

The sizing is not consistent. Each individual piece seems to be cut differently and sized differently, which is bizarre for any clothing brand. Also the leggings are semi-see-through. They should not be worn to workout—as I definitely couldn’t be doing any downward dogs or squats in these.

Bottom Line

These leggings are made from Rayon from organically grown bamboo, like the rest of the Boody line. They are extremely soft, yet see-through. They are great for lounging.
Types: There is also a full length version.

Men’s Adidas Ultraboost Uncaged Parley Shoe

Rating: 4 out of 5
Pros

Good For: Running
Notable Attributes: The yarn in the upper part of the shoe was made from recycled waste from the ocean. The upper is also made of a single piece of material, producing less waste in production.
Primeknit yarn allows your foot to breathe as you run and doesn’t restrict the Achilles tendon—aka no blisters and no tendon strain! The insert has so much cushion it feels like you’re walking on clouds!

Cons

The extreme cushion can also work as a con for some people’s feet, because it doesn’t always offer the support that a more stable shoe would have.

Bottom Line

Types: Adidas has several shoes and clothing for both men and women in their Parley line. All of these are made with recycled waste from the ocean This particular Ultraboost comes in 10 different colors.
Ultraboosts are known for being extremely comfy, and this eco-friendly version is no different. Why not support a great cause, then, and buy a pair of these instead of your regular Ultraboosts?

Outdoor Voices EcoMesh Tank Top

Rating: 4 out of 5
Pros

Good For: As their name indicates, Outdoor Voices’ clothes were made specifically for outdoor activity in mind. This piece was made to air you out during prolonged activities in the outdoor heat, especially during high intensity routines.
Notable Attributes: Made with 47% recycled polyester.
Fabric is so light you’ll forget you’re even wearing clothes.

Cons

Weird thing to pick on—but the opening for the head is really small. Watch your hair and your earrings! Once it comes down over your head, it usually fits just fine around your neck.

Bottom Line

Types: Comes in 6 different colors, and in a T-shirt version.
This brand has a great message. They encouraging women to get out there and take part in more physical activities.

Patagonia Capilene Womens Sports Bra

Rating: 4 out of 5
Pros

Good For: Any workout!
Notable Attributes: This specific bra is not eco-friendly, but Patagonia strives to reduce their chemical footprint, which is why it’s included in this list. They audit the materials they use to make sure they are long-lasting, and raise money to protect the environment from hazards.
Literally can’t beat this price! The color is a very pretty nude that they call “tan.” It’s very supportive and moisture-wicking, making it ideal for any activity.

Cons

Can be a little snug or just extra supportive, depending on how you like to wear your sports bras.

Bottom Line

Types: Fits size A-B
Not all of Patagonia’s items are made eco-friendly, but the company does a lot to raise money for and support environmental awareness. This bra is fabulous to workout in for any activity.
