This daily supplement works to naturally increase the production of the “feel good” neurotransmitter serotonin in your system, enhancing feelings of happiness, well-being, and calm in both your mind and body. New Mood also includes secondary ingredients such as chamomile, valerian root, and lemon balm that have historically been used to fight restlessness and enhance sleep quality. I easily noticed boosts in focus and relaxation when supplementing with New Mood. I was also able to jumpstart a solid sleep schedule while taking it and was able to shut my brain off at night. Also, I noticed that I woke up without as many aches and pains after grueling workouts. The recovery that I got from deeper sleep allowed me to perform better in subsequent workouts.

Cons

The daily recommended dose is 2 capsules a day. At $25 a bottle, that requires an investment of $60 extra dollars per month. The benefits are there, however, if you can deal with the cost.

Bottom Line

If you are looking for a supplement in the short term to help combat insomnia and help you obtain deep, restorative sleep, than this is a good choice. It helped me sleep deeper and left me in a better emotional state. It primed me to tackle anything the day had in store for me.

Onnit Reviews: New Mood Supplement

My experience with New Mood was amazing. Most importantly, I began to get deep restorative sleep. In the past, I’ve always been a light sleeper who wakes up multiple times at night. While using New Mood, I experienced deep restorative sleep that allowed me to rise with vigor when I woke up in the morning, as opposed to feeling like I needed to hit the snooze button. I noticed that I recovered better from tough workouts. I didn’t stumble out of bed feeling aches and looking for the nearest foam roller. With this increased sleep came better focus and clarity during my day.

I’m normally in a very good mood. People tend to ask me daily why I am always so happy—and I feel this consistent positive buzz while taking New Mood.
